The masked American is an oxymoron. Or, perhaps, just a moron. The name “American” is a great honor. It signifies one who is free, one who understands and cherishes his rights, one who governs himself, and one who resists the arbitrary dictates of tyrants and oppressors. Mask mandates are incompatible with American law, American heritage, and, most importantly, the nature of Americanism.

A crowd of masked Americans is an offensive, revolting sight. It’s unnatural and bizarre. Americans looks miserable as they trudge around in their silly masks. You can see the shame in their eyes. They know, deep down, that they were not meant to wear masks and that mask mandates are an affront to our heritage as American freemen. They know that the children of the Sons of Liberty should never be forced to wear coverings around their faces at the demand of some government bureaucrat. Medical mask mandates are, simply, unAmerican.
Americans were not created to be shackled with slave masks! They were not made to be pushed around by their elected representatives. They were not created to be talked down to like toddlers. They were not meant to be told what to wear, what to do, where to go, with whom they may meet, or how far to stand away from their friends. Living micromanaged lives may be fine in Red China, but it is not part of being an American.
Masks are a symbol of fear. A fearful people is not a free people. Are we truly the land of the free as we never tire of saying? Not if we’re the land of masked subjects! Do we truly honor our troops who “fought and died for our Freedom”? Not if we so callously give away our rights when some smooth-faced despot tells us to do so for our “safety”! I repeat: Masks are a symbol of fear and a culture of fear is not compatible with a culture of Freedom.

Seeing a sea of masked Asians doesn’t raise my ire because Asians have lived in highly collectivized and micromanaged societies for millennia. They’re cogs in the machine of state – insignificant parts of a human mass that exists to serve. I can imagine the ancestors of the Chinese wearing masks as obediently as their progeny does today. The same goes for most societies across the globe because collectivism, conformity, and servility are in their heritage. Slavery is the default state of the bulk of humanity.
I cannot, however, imagine seeing the Vikings, Romans, Celts, Scottish, or Anglo-Saxons walking around in masks. Germanic and Nordic peoples, while creating sophisticated societies with ordered Liberty, are not mindless collectivists by nature. Picturing Anglo-Saxon peoples walking around sheepishly in masks is an absurdity to the rational mind! No one will ever convince me that Ragnar, Julius Caesar, Vercingetorix, William Wallace, or Hengist and Horsa would have fearfully acquiesced to wear face masks. And certainly no one will persuade me to believe that the American Pilgrims and Founding Fathers would have submitted to wear ridiculous face coverings.
Early Americans were a different breed of human. They were tough. They were hardy. They were the men and women who tamed a wilderness, defeated wild Indian attackers, established thriving cities on a docile continent, and forged a civilization unrivaled in wealth, power, technology, advancement, influence, systems of government, and personal Freedom.
Americans were also incredibly well-educated, polished, and refined. They understood history, studied classic languages, comprehended the law, and immersed themselves in self-government. They were upright, pious, loved virtue, and worshiped the God who gave them life and Liberty. They were men and women of valor, discipline, and honor. These were not people to tamely surrender themselves to the capricious whims of self-appointed rulers.

Who can honestly believe that Patrick Henry would have silently acquiesced to the totalitarian dictates of conniving usurpers like Governors Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer, Kate Brown, Gary Herbert, and Andrew Cuomo? Who can believe that Samuel Adams, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and George Washington would have gone along with their elected leaders commanding them to wear masks over their faces, ordering them to close down their businesses to make someone else feel safe, dictating how they interacted with their fellow citizens, or placing arbitrary restrictions on their private lives?
Early American patriots would not have tolerated the unhinged babbling of mini-tyrants like tens of millions of servile Americans do today. The men who threw tea into Boston Harbor to protest British economic manipulation would never have complied with the closure of their businesses and livelihoods in the name of fighting a disease – and certainly not one with a 99.9% survivability rate. The freemen who stared down the Redcoats on the Lexington town green would never have donned face masks, canceled worship services, called off holidays with their families, or adopted the idiotic habit of standing six feet away from everyone they met simply because their public servants commanded them to do so.
The masked American is an anomaly in U.S. history precisely because of how unAmerican his servility is. He is not like the men of 1776. He is not like the Indian fighters who made the forests and plains safe from savage attacks on our People. He is not like the Pioneers who spread American exceptionalism across the continent. He is not like the warriors who defended the Alamo against invading Mexicans. He is not like the Marines who stormed Iwo Jima. No, the masked American is a sad aberration – an American-in-name-only.

Mask mandates are incompatible with American heritage, American history, and American nature. Not only are masks unAmerican, they are unconstitutional. No governor, no state legislator, no mayor, no sheriff, no congressman, no president, and no judge has any authority to force you to wear a mask, to close your business, to compel you to stand six feet away from other people, to fine you for walking outside with out a mask, to harass you for worshiping God in a congregation, to restrict your right to travel because you don’t want to undergo invasive medical testing, or to dictate how many people you may have in your home for Thanksgiving. All of this is unAmerican. It’s an assault on the very foundation of Americanism.
Masks have even seemingly taken the place of God for many churches and individuals. Instead of living in faith, society has decided it’s better to live in fear. Instead of worshiping God, they worship the state and its idol – the medical mask. Traditional Americans work, worship, and live in faith. Servile Americans, if such a contradictory thing can truly exist, have broken from tradition and have instead adopted the Marxist lifestyle with its mandatory masks, mandatory fear, and mandatory thralldom.
The masked American is, I repeat, an oxymoron. True Americans don’t comply with public mask mandates. If a private store wishes to require you to wear a mask, that’s their right – just as they’ve always been able to say “no shirt, no shoes, no service.” And you have the concomitant right of shopping elsewhere and rewarding other businesses that are not insane enough to require you to buy into media hysteria about the Coronahoax. But a public mask mandate is unconstitutional, unsanitary, and unAmerican.
Masked Americans are not the successors of the patriots of 1776. Those good men would have never complied with the tyranny Americans take for granted today. The masked American is a sad figure who is fighting against his nature in wearing a ridiculous face covering. While it might befit an Asian or Latino to wear a medical mask around all day, it is wholly inappropriate for children of the Pilgrims, Pioneers, and Patriots to do so.

Masks have become a symbol of slavery and obedience – a sick initiation into the cult of communist totalitarianism. Nothing about this “new normal” is actually normal. America has no room for such servility. America’s true motto is the one proudly adopted by Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson: Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God. Don’t be a masked American; be a real American.

Today’s article really moved me to tears. It was wonderful. Your previous one, too. Just finished The Lineage of the Gods, which was exquisite. Red Gadiantons was crazy good. Well into your A Century of Reds. I have seen so many points made in your articles and books that so strike home with my own masterful convictions that it gives me much encouragement, which, so desperately I sometimes need. It’s been quite difficult trying to get all that needs to be done to sell the home and relocate. Our political leaders here are modern Red Gadiantons, particularly Governor Charlie Faker. I often suppose they’ve a lineage of the human devils from Massachusetts that I traced in my own little contribution. It astounded me to have gotten that proposal from your team and I mean to somehow find time yet to write a chapter. But it has been emotionally challenging, what with all that’s so draining my energy at times, with work at a VA hospital, the house, finances and so forth. So, we shall see. I see things working out soon. Either way, what you write is incredible, Zack. All good things in good, due time. Later.. Gotta fly.

Keep up the great work, Arthur. Your contributions are not so little. The Lord will sustain you because you are one of his true followers. And thank you for your kind words about my writings. I do my best. “If a man does his best, what else is there?” – General George S. Patton

The fact that Americans so readily accept this tyranny is a sign of how degraded they have become. It is hard to be optimistic about the future of the US.

What do you think of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints recommendations? I agree with you, masks are unconstitutional and unAmerican for sure… but I feel torn to listen to the leaders of my faith… which has more merit as a commandment.

Church leaders have never given a blanket statement to the whole membership to wear masks. It’s a location-by-location thing. I know plenty of people, including family, who won’t attend a meeting in-person until the requirement to wear masks is lifted. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. What is wrong is when bishops or leaders endeavor to force members from worshiping Christ and partaking of His sacrament (3 Nephi 18:22-23). Follow the word of the Lord, which governs the Church (D&C 42:59-60), and you’ll be fine.

I appreciate the truth spoken here. What really bothers me is that more cities are mandating the wearing of masks. Pocatello, Idaho is the most recent one. I can’t afford a fine or an attorney. I just don’t have the strength to fight. I have come now to appeal to God for help to do what I can’t.

Can’t help but feel like were about to wake up one day and be told I have to take a bus to a labor camp or something. Scary these days in the world. I wonder if we will get our freedoms back?
